New Public Hearing Dates for Bill 148 Consultation Announced for Next Week (Note 5 p.m. Deadline Today)

On October 26, 2017, the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs (Committee) announced that it intends to hold another round of public hearings in Toronto with respect to Bill 148 next week.
Please note the deadline of today at 5:00 p.m. to notify the Committee of an intention to participate in the hearings next Monday or Tuesday. This announcement was made this afternoon, leaving little time for interested parties for respond.
Hearing Dates
The Committee will hold public hearings in Toronto on the following dates:
- Monday, October 30, 2017 (deadline to request to appear at these hearings is 5:00pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017).
- Tuesday, October 31, 2017 (deadline to request to appear at these hearings is 5:00pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017).
- Thursday, November 2, 2017 (deadline to request to appear at these hearings is 5:00pm on Monday, October 30, 2017).
Parties wishing to appear should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by the specified deadline.
Written Submissions
The deadline for written submissions is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017. Those submissions are to be sent to the Clerk of the Committee.
