On November 22, 2017, the Ontario government passed Bill 148, Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017, legislation that significantly changes workplace laws in Ontario.

The Bill should be consulted for coming into force information; however, note that many of the changes will take place in the start of the new year, or even sooner.
